This group is a non-judgmental support hub for adults who identify under the umbrella of non-binary. From bigender to agender and every other space on the infinite spectrums of, around, and beyond gender, this space welcomes those who have struggled to find support in spaces that skew binary.
We will gather once weekly for 60 minutes, virtually, to discuss topics relevant to moving through the world authentically as a nonbinary person.
This group is facilitated by a nonbinary psychologist who will lend structure as needed to group sessions, will facilitate discussion to ensure that all participants are able to engage actively and safely with the group, and will provide discussion prompts and activities when appropriate to guide the group.
Participants are asked to commit to at least 8 sessions, at which time they may choose to renew or depart the group. New participants will have the opportunity to join every ~8 weeks, contingent on space.
A 20-minute consultation call and group screening is required prior to registering for this group. These screenings are conducted to ensure a lively, cohesive, and aligned group process.

Description:
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy is an evidence-based psychotherapy and lifestyle approach which reduces your discomfort and suffering, even when you can’t eliminate or control the circumstances causing your suffering.
This series may benefit those who are experiencing:
distress or uncertainty in the current political climate
significant life changes in their lives that feel stressful
challenges related to chronic illnesses and/or disabilities
identity shifts that have left you lacking direction or clarity
stress at work that you feel powerless to change or address
If you are struggling with stressors that feel outside your control, these skills can get you feeling better and making decisions that move you closer to your goals.
While this series is likely to help you heal and thrive psychologically, this is not a psychotherapy group. As such, it is open to attendees from any location and is not eligible for insurance coverage.
